Users (employees) can tap My Leave Requests / Request Leave on the Clock-In Mode home screen to open their personal leave page. The page displays annual leave, compensatory leave, sick leave, personal leave, and other leave records, and it allows users to submit new leave requests. Users can use this area to manage and plan their time off.

The Clock-In Mode home screen provides the following leave information:
Leave Balances
The top of the page shows the remaining hours or days for each leave type, helping users (employees) plan time off. Examples include annual leave (15 hours), compensatory leave (14 hours), ordinary sick leave (240 hours), and personal leave (112 hours). Check this area regularly to avoid exceeding an allowance or missing available leave.
Reminder: Leave may be calculated in hours or days depending on its type. Refer to your organization's policies for details.
Note: If leave balances do not appear at the top of the Clock-In Mode home screen, an administrator has disabled them on that screen.
Leave Request List
The bottom of the page lists submitted leave requests in application-time order, including:
- Leave type: Such as annual leave, compensatory leave, personal leave, ordinary sick leave, bereavement leave, marriage leave, job-seeking leave, family-care leave, official leave, occupational injury or sickness leave, unpaid sick leave, paternity leave, and parental leave without pay.
- Leave date and time: The start and end of the leave period.
- Leave hours: The total number of leave hours calculated by the system.
- Review status: The request's progress, such as Pending Review, Approved, or Rejected.
- Compensatory-leave record: When applicable, the overtime hours converted to compensatory leave, such as
+14 hrs.

- Leave start and end time
- Total leave hours
- Break time (a non-paid period set automatically or manually)
Leave Request Workflow
After a user (employee) submits a leave request, SwipePoint sends it to the leave reviewer. Once approved, an administrator or HR representative receives a notification and can add the leave to a device calendar. If the request is rejected, the user receives a notification.

Request Leave

On the Clock-In Mode home screen, tap My Leave Requests / Request Leave, then tap Request Leave. This page shows leave requests that have been submitted but not yet reviewed.
The bottom of the page lists unreviewed requests by leave time, including:
- Leave type: Such as annual leave, compensatory leave, personal leave, ordinary sick leave, bereavement leave, marriage leave, job-seeking leave, family-care leave, official leave, occupational injury or sickness leave, unpaid sick leave, paternity leave, and parental leave without pay.
- Leave date and time: The start and end of the leave period.
- Leave hours: The total number of leave hours calculated by the system.
- Review status: Pending Review.
Tap a request to view more details, including:

Submit a Leave Request
Home > Clock-In Mode > My Leave Requests / Request Leave > Request Leave > Leave Request Page
Tap Request Leave at the bottom of the Request Leave page to start a new request. If an administrator has enabled Leave by Schedule, you can select both the starting and ending date and time to request multiple days of leave.

SwipePoint provides several default leave types, including annual leave, compensatory leave, personal leave, ordinary sick leave, bereavement leave, marriage leave, job-seeking leave, family-care leave, official leave, occupational injury or sickness leave, unpaid sick leave, paternity leave, and parental leave without pay. Employees must use each leave type in accordance with their organization's policies.
Note: If the leave type you need does not appear, an administrator has disabled it.
Upload Attachments
Home > Clock-In Mode > My Leave Requests / Request Leave > Request Leave > Leave Request Page > Attachments
When requesting leave, users may upload supporting documents by taking a photo, selecting an image from the photo library, or choosing a file.
Reminder: Attachment uploads are available only after the organization creator subscribes to the Premium Storage plan.
Each attachment may be up to 25 MB. Contact customer support if you need to upload a larger file.
Approved Leave
Home > Clock-In Mode > My Leave Requests / Request Leave > Approved Leave
On the Clock-In Mode home screen, tap My Leave Requests / Request Leave, then tap Approved Leave to view approved leave requests.
Use the date selector to set a date range. You can also tap the three-dot menu on the right and choose Last Month, This Month, Next Month, or This Year.
The leave-type selector can show all leave types or filter the list to a specific type.
The bottom of the page lists approved requests by leave time. By default, the range covers the first through the last day of the month containing the latest leave record. Each complete record includes:
- Leave type: Such as annual leave, compensatory leave, personal leave, ordinary sick leave, bereavement leave, marriage leave, job-seeking leave, family-care leave, official leave, occupational injury or sickness leave, unpaid sick leave, paternity leave, and parental leave without pay.
- Leave date and time: The start and end of the leave period.
- Leave hours: The total number of leave hours calculated by the system.
- Review status: Approved.

Leave Allocation Records

On the Clock-In Mode home screen, tap My Leave Requests / Request Leave, then tap Leave Allocation Records. This page displays the leave allocations granted by an administrator.
Tap a record to view:
- Leave type
- Creation time
- Number of hours
Add to Device Calendar
Home > Clock-In Mode > My Leave Requests / Request Leave > Approved Leave > Leave Details > Add to Device Calendar
Users (employees) can add an approved leave record to a device calendar. This helps prevent missed leave arrangements and makes personal scheduling easier.
Steps
- Open SwipePoint, enter Clock-In Mode, and select Home.
- Tap My Leave Requests / Request Leave.
- Select Approved Leave.
- Find the leave record to add and tap it to open the details page.
- Tap Add to Device Calendar.
- In the menu that appears, select a calendar on the device and confirm.
Notes
- This feature only adds a record to the device calendar. To remove it later, delete it manually from the calendar app on the phone or other device. SwipePoint does not synchronize deletions.
- If an administrator deletes the leave record in SwipePoint, the copy already added to the device calendar is not removed automatically.

Q1: Where can I find My Leave Requests?

Q2: How can I check the remaining hours or days for each leave type?

Q7: How do I request two days of bereavement leave?
A: On the Clock-In Mode home screen, tap My Leave Requests / Request Leave > Request Leave, then tap the request button at the bottom. Select the leave start and end dates, choose Bereavement Leave, and submit the request.
Note: If you cannot select an end date, the administrator has not enabled Leave by Schedule. Ask an administrator to go to Management Mode > Home > Human Resources > Personal Information, open the employee's profile, and enable Leave by Schedule.
Q8: My leave request was approved, but I want to cancel it. What should I do?
A: You cannot withdraw or edit an approved leave request yourself. Contact the leave reviewer, an organization administrator, or the record creator and ask them to delete the approved leave record so that schedules and records remain accurate.
Q9: How do I cancel, delete, or withdraw a leave request?
A: Follow these steps:
- Enter Clock-In Mode.
- Tap My Leave Requests / Request Leave.
- Tap Request Leave.
- Select the request to cancel.
- On the request page, tap Cancel in the upper-right corner.
Note: You can cancel only a request that has not yet been approved. If a leave reviewer has approved it, contact an organization administrator.
Q10: I cannot request leave because there is no leave button. What should I do?
A: If the leave button does not appear in Clock-In Mode, an administrator has disabled the Request Leave feature. Tell the administrator about the leave request so they can add a leave record in Management Mode.
Q11: How does an employee open My Leave Requests, and what can they review there?
A: Tap My Leave Requests / Request Leave on the Clock-In Mode home screen. The page displays the employee's annual leave, compensatory leave, sick leave, personal leave, and other leave information.

Q18: Can two or more leave requests cover the same time?
A: No. If a user submits another request for the same time, SwipePoint displays a leave-overlap message. To submit a replacement request, delete the original request first and then submit the new one.
Q19: Can I request multiple days with different leave types in one request?
A: No. Leave by Schedule supports only one leave type per multi-day request. Submit two separate leave requests and select the appropriate type for each one.
